PROF LUIS FERNÁNDEZ-VEGA, HAS BEEN AWARDED THE IBERO-AMERICAN AWARD ASICOM – UNIVERSIDAD DE OVIEDO

This international award is a recognition awarded by the Asociación Iberoamericana de la Comunicación (ASICOM) in collaboration with Universidad de Oviedo and other Ibero-American institutions and entities.

This international award is a recognition awarded by the Asociación Iberoamericana de la Comunicación (ASICOM) in collaboration with Universidad de Oviedo and other Ibero-American institutions and entities.

It is awarded to professionals and academics that have excelled in different disciplines within the Ibero-American context, helping with their work to build and restore this historical region. Some of the winners of former editions are:  Mr Juan Miguel Villar Mir (President of OHL); The Organización Nacional de Ciegos (ONCE – Spanish National Organisation of the Blind); Mr Martín Berasategui (chef) or Mr Emilio Butragueño (footballer).
These awards are sponsored by the Department of Communication Theory EL UNIVERSAL and by the Department of Social Networks Marcos and Stephanie Fastlicht.

The award ceremony will be held on 9 October at 19 hours in the Paraninfo hall of the historical building of Universidad de Oviedo and will be presided by Mr Vicente Gotor Santamaría, Rector of Universidad de Oviedo.
